Overview

Impactive is a B2B SaaS provider for advocacy, nonprofit, and political organizations seeking to fundraise, expand, and engage supporters.

In 2021, Impactive sought to expand its marketing operations to capitalize on its successful growth from the previous year. Still in growth mode, the team needed a marketing generalist with impeccable writing skills, an analytical mind, and the ability to roll their hands up and manage multiple channels.

For over two years, I worked with Impactive to build a successful marketing pipeline that worked within and around sales outbound efforts and generated over $1 million in marketing-led total contract value in 2022. 

Impactive's SaaS offerings also meant I worked closely with the Product and Leadership teams. During my time with Impactive, I refined product messaging and positioning for 8+ solution offerings with insights from market research, competitive analyses, and demo calls. By the end of my time with the company, I had led product marketing launches for six major releases.

Other highlights of my time with Impactive include:

  • Website Management & Analytics: Designing and building over 12 web and landing pages using Figma and Webflow; plus, managing and updating Impactive’s marketing site (impactive.io) regularly.
  • Search Engine Optimization: Lifting 10+ high-value search keywords to the first five search result positions and increasing the average site ranking by 25% with over 50+ keyword-optimized blog posts.
  • Digital Advertising: Strategizing and executing paid social and search campaigns on LinkedIn and Google Ads with quarterly budgets of $3,000 to $6,000.
  • Sales Enablement: Creating a full library of sales decks, one-pagers, and other sales collateral, using insights gathered from sales calls and client product use to enhance sales messaging.
  • Email Marketing: Produced outbound marketing campaigns for 3,000+ subscribers, including automated flows (welcome and onboarding drip campaigns) and email broadcasts (product announcements and monthly newsletters).
